as modularz approaches it s 50th release - label owner developer decided to feature a 4 track sampler taken from the new lp by chicago s zachary lubin named -omronicon- this is modularz 49 to be exact and features a wealth of groove based bangers all carrying the same aesthetic and theme through the recordings. it s hard to pin point if this is a hard or deep release so let s say it s entirely both and with good reason - it s also very synth heavy and gains ongoing momentum the more you listen. it s very obvious that modularz puts out excellent techno and this is by far no exception. tip

several years ago, the disco records dj crew members got their hands on a couple of original 70s obscurities, while these standout records shone brightly in their own right, the team finally decided to put them out as those obscure old records fetch eye-wateringly high prices on the second-hand market. due to popular request & lovingly mastered to the highest possible standards, they are now available to play and share in very special moments at parties around the world. this will surely be one of the most keenly anticipated disco release of the year. for our first release, we are extremely proud to bring you at last, three very hard to find disco anthems on sides a & b in their glorious full extended versions

the piano man of techno, fabrizio rat, is back on involve with four tracks made to expand minds while moving bodies. the vibrant title track opens the ep with sharp cymbals and a synth whose trippyness is underlined by a commanding hypnotic vocal, ordering the crowd to dance till dawn. say word follows up with the same high pace and catches the attention with stabbing, cut off vocals, fast beats and an epic melody. rat’s piano skills take us on a hallucinatory journey with whirring atmospherics driven by the aim of reaching ecstasy on rave runner, before involve records label head regal closes the ep with a remix, delivering what he’s best known for. a slamming straight-forward techno cut with a deep bassline emphasized by rat’s contrasting ethereal melody.
